How to see where this window is leaking
This 25 year old full-sun, south-facing window is leaking just a little on the inside. I'm hoping it just needs to be re-caulked but I'm not quite sure how to get to it to see. I bought a siding removal tool but, getting closer, see that the siding trim is actually underneath the trim on the window itself. I'd be happy just to be able open things up a bit to see what's going on before I hire someone. Maybe it just needs re-caulking but could also have rot/mold. Any suggestions for how to get to this? Think it's DIY-able for a relatively handy guy? https://preview.redd.it/ac5xyo3yhlne1.jpg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=50915521dfd793281f83af2d1cc76b0b57781bbf submitted by /u/robotmonstermash [link] [comments]
