Lol, help! Microcement gone very very very wrong.
Hello, decided to try and cover our 2007 brown granite countertops because we just didn’t love them but we’re trying to do this on a budget (big oops!) and we’re pretty screwed as of right now. The company we went with was Epodex. We sanded with 80 grit, used a DEEP primer for absorbent surfaces and followed all of the directions on their product. Here we are though….the cement just keeps sticking to itself and pulling itself up / off. The primer completely came off in most spots. I basically just scraped it all off in hope I can sand it down tomorrow and re strategize. It is not nearly as easy as YouTube made it look!! Please send tips, tricks and suggestions. Ps yes I am remembering my brown granite with fondness and regret right now haha. submitted by /u/SoggyVoice6541 [link] [comments]
