Luggage/Plant scale into HA
I was watering a hanging plant today and thought it would be a useful metric to track its weight. I can't find anyone who has integrated a luggage type scale into HA. So I put it to you, I want a luggage scale that I can weigh a hanging thing like a plant and get that metric into HA. As for how I think that would work. I'd hang the plant from the scale and then scan the NFC tag that is on the plant which would cause an automation to take the current value of the scale and apply it to the plant weight entity that doesn't currently exist.
