Use Styrofoam to build a small insulated storage cabinet?
I live in Norway, and we have around four months of freezing temperatures. Last year, the inner joint of my high-pressure washer broke on its first use after winter. When I checked the user manual, I realized it should be stored above freezing temperature. I also have a robot mower and several Ryobi batteries, which I store in the house during winter. I am thinking of building a small storage cabinet with 1-inch Styrofoam as a heat insulator around it and using a 200W heater to maintain the temperature. Is there any problem with using Styrofoam only as the wall, or should I cover it with plywood? submitted by /u/bananacc [link] [comments]
