Game publisher Ubisoft and tournament organiser BLAST have chosen Munich, Germany, as the destination for the 2025 BLAST Rainbow Six Siege (R6) Fall Major.

This is the first time Munich will host a Rainbow Six esports event. Set to run from November 8th to November 16th, the BLAST R6 Major will have the last three days of action open to the public at the BMW Park Arena, where teams will be competing for the title and a share of its $750,000 (~£560,265) prize pool.

According to a release, BLAST and Ubisoft also confirmed the dates for the season-ending Six Invitational, which will take place in Paris, France, next year. The tournament will kick off on February 2nd and run until February 15th, 2026. Just like the Munich Major, only the last three match days will have a live crowd.

How to Qualify for BLAST R6 Major Munich 2025?

According to the new competitive format for the 2025 season, teams will compete in four regional leagues (South America, North America, Europe MENA, and Asia Pacific) to determine the 16 teams heading to the BLAST R6 Munich Major, with each league sending its top four rosters.

Additionally, teams will be able to earn Six Invitational Points, which decides the representatives at the Six Invitational. In each region, teams can earn a maximum of 300 points in the first stage, 700 max points in the Finals, and 1200 points in the Major. The winner of the Major will also automatically qualify for SI.

Chrystina Martel, Executive Producer of Rainbow Six, commented on the announcement: “We’re incredibly excited to bring the BLAST Rainbow Six Major to Germany for the second time and for the very first time to the vibrant city of Munich.

“With 16 of the world’s top teams competing over eight days of high-stakes action, fans can expect an unforgettable tournament experience.”
