According to the talk show icon, Hunter Jr. had unauthorized access to her bank accounts and withdrew money without her consent. “My son crossed the line… he was using my money without telling me anything about it,” Williams told TMZ. 

She also reflected on the 2022 controversy when Wells Fargo froze her accounts, explaining that these unauthorized withdrawals were a major factor in the decision. "Thank God. No more money being taken from my son and others,” she said, expressing relief that the financial restrictions ultimately prevented further exploitation. Despite her disappointment, Williams admitted she still sees her son as a “good person” but also lamented, “At this point, he’s a horrible person to me.”
